How it works

A starting point for discussion

A month is treated as 30 days. Receivables = sales × collection days / 30; inventory = cost of goods sold × inventory days / 30; payables = cost of goods sold × payment days / 30. Estimated operating working capital is receivables + inventory − payables. Both scenarios keep sales and costs unchanged.

The result organizes your answers and the stated assumptions. Reviewing your situation may require additional information and analysis.
